The Friends are a group of people with a similar interest in ensuring that the history of the locality remains available for the young generation of today to learn and be part of those times gone by.
THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To promote the Museum in which every way possible in order to maintain the function and standard of the services provided.
2. To assist in the purchase of items not afforded by the Museum itself, but of great value and interest to the visitors, and of extreme local historical value.
3. To fundraise money towards the maintenance and upkeep of the exhibits , and to support the employed staff at the Museum.
4. To support each of the members of the Friends in their work linked to the Museum.
5. The Friends do not tolerate acts of vandalism and will take severe action to eradicate the problem.
